Our Famous Whirley in a 1×12 Combo!
The Whirley was originally made from an old Wurlizer organ amp. This is a simple amp with a nice blues feel. There is a bit of gain in the preamp but its mostly more about power tube distortion, which is where the lower wattage versions shine as you get those 6L6’s cooking. It ranges from 35 to 50 watts depending on transformers and bias configuration.
