Ugly amps can service your Fender Marshall most any tube amp over the years I have done some cool mods as well for more gain or to mix fender and marshall characteristics in the same amp. most mods are reversable and do not detract from the value of the amp unless its ugly to begin with! We can also build custom amplifiers and even dress them up so they are not too ugly!

What you will not find!

There are enough people in this game who boast that they have it all figured out, and everyone else is full of it I will not engage in better than or holy grail capacitor chatter or ramble on too awful long! about my personal opinions or even preferences I can tell you to keep an open mind Leo and Jim had some nice amps We all take hints from all the amps out there. even the silvertones and weird amps I have incorporated bits from many designs into my new line of amps.

			Amplifier Repairs
			I have a very strong background in electronics and have been working on amps for many years. I can repair most any tube guitar amp or tube hifi organ amp. Solid state can be repaired as well although in some cases it may not be worth doing.

			Mods and De-mods
			The crew here at ugly amps will not ever drill a hole in the faceplate of a classic amp. But that said, we will alter a few capacitor values to get your old fender barking like a Vox or a Marshall. Most people for example use the normal channel on the old Bassman; I have a mod for the Bass channel that will make it sound like a plexi!

			Custom Amps
			I am working on a line of simple 2x6l6 amplifiers. Initially I would like to build heads, but the combos are in the works. Basically a small box 40-60 watt head with a very simple circuit that gives up the goods. No reverb or tremolo just 3 knobs and pure bliss. Gain, Tone, and Master thats it!
